On the Fun Ship Carnival Legend
This was the third time, we're on the Carnival cruise ships. This Dec 21-28, 2008 trip from Tampa Port to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize City and Isla Roatan.
While we were relaxing by the ship swimming pool, our kid enjoyed swimming and played water slide. They went to Carnival camps on and off as they liked. This ship was a little different from other Carnival ship but we were familiar with where things were, including shopping, and especially the food & bevarage areas. We enjoyed the meals at dinner time, and also show time while being served by the waiters as in the slideshow. On formal nights, the on-board professional photograpger took our family photos. After dinners, there were production shows (dancing, variety, magic, comedy, singing,...)each evening as well. We particularly enjoyed the Motown music show where we danced to the slow love songs while the kids watched (big eyes) with interest.
This time we got upgraded to a cabin on the top floor, but we found out later that this was just below the stage by the pool. One night there were late night music until one in the morning, and it was so lound we could not sleep. We complained a few times, and purser's office tried to help. They sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. Then the next night they also send us a bottle of wine at dinner. We were impressed of this kind for best customer care.
